Klaytn to integrate with BSN International
Klaytn will join Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) this year, adding to the growing list of public blockchains operating on BSN, including Ethereum, Solana, Tezos, and Polkadot. Klaytn’s integration with the BSN follows the 5 strategic partnerships announced earlier this year, which are key to Klaytn’s market expansion in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and the US.
The BSN is a global blockchain network that aims to be the “Internet of Blockchains” by letting developers access public chains on a standardized platform, so as to easily build or operate their decentralized applications (dapps).
The BSN is currently split into two entities: BSN International and BSN China. The rationale for the division between BSN International and BSN China is to ensure the management of the BSN inside of China is compliant with China’s strict blockchain regulations.
Klaytn has begun integration with BSN International and will soon have access to BSN’s pool of over 25,000 global developers around the world. Integration with BSN International will also enhance Klaytn’s interoperability and compatibility with other platforms.
“Klaytn already supports Ethereum equivalence and integration with BSN will further enhance our interoperability. This is a great boost to our plans to accelerate global expansion this year” says David Shin, Head of Global Adoption at Klaytn Foundation.
“We welcome Klaytn to be on board with BSN. We are excited that Klaytn’s technology is available on BSN International, which will give more framework options for global developers and empower them with a cost-effective development environment,” says Yifan He, CEO of Red Date Technology and Executive Director of the BSN Development Association.
Klaytn is a public blockchain focused on the metaverse, gamefi, and the creator economy. Officially launched in June 2019, it is the dominant blockchain platform in South Korea and is now undergoing global business expansion from its international base in Singapore.
These business expansion activities are supported by the Klaytn Growth Fund, which aims to grow the ecosystem of companies built on Klaytn. The fund is managed and disbursed by Klaytn Foundation, a Singapore-based non-profit organization established in August 2021.
The Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) is a cross-cloud, cross-portal, cross-framework global infrastructure network used to develop, deploy, and manage all types of blockchain applications. BSN aims to reduce the cost and technical difficulty of blockchain application development by providing a public resource and interoperability environment to developers.
