Dr. Sam Seo appointed as Chairman of the BAS Digital Assets Subcommittee
Dr. Sam Seo, Representative Director of Klaytn Foundation, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS) Digital Assets Subcommittee.
The newly-formed Digital Assets Subcommittee was created as a focused workgroup that is able to have a significant impact on progressing the work of the industry. As the inaugural Chairman, Dr. Sam Seo will be both shaping the regulatory framework of the Digital Assets Subcommittee, and taking on a pivotal role in advancing Singapore’s digital economy through various initiatives, including:
- Driving adoption of blockchain technology and digital assets across industries through the exchange of ideas, insights, and expertise with external stakeholders.
- Raising public awareness of the potential of digital assets through collaborative initiatives with relevant industry partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and media outlets.
- Establishing academic and research partnerships to advance knowledge and expertise in the field of blockchain technologies.
This appointment will further cement the already-strong relationship between Klaytn Foundation and BAS, and we look forward to working closely together to advance our shared objective of collaboratively growing the blockchain and digital assets sector in Singapore and beyond.
